I am 6th year PhD student in Linguistics at MIT. Before doing Linguistics, I studied theoretical Computer Science and a couple other unrelated topics in my home country, France. My current areas of interest are pragmatics, experimental linguistics, and puzzles at the syntax-semantics interface. I am also have a few NLP projects on the side, with the general goal of quantitatively evaluating statistical models of language w.r.t. fine-grained linguistic phenomena in both syntax and semantics. In my spare time I love to refurbish various stuff (in particular: bikes, old Nintendos), bike/walk/hike/swim depending on the occasion, hunt for free food on campus, and just tell my cat Sachou how cute and pretty she is.
